Making The Perfect Martini

Making The Perfect Martini

When it comes to cocktails, beauty is in the eye of the imbiber.

We can’t claim to have the perfect formula for a martini but we can make sure to stock our shelves with the items needed for a balanced drink, anytime. This list is a 101 life hack to keeping a bar stocked at home. Our friends in the beverage industry will certainly have additions to this list, like Nordic kelp bitters or Ecuadorian snail orgeat some s**t that a lot of bars in New York deem ‘essential’. If you have those things in your home, this list is not for you.

This list is for my basic babes at home who are just looking to drink a negroni or a great martini at home. This includes pantry staples but also the bar supplies you need to keep you and the ones you love hydrated in style.

Stock Your Bar. You’ll Need:

-A martini shaker, like this one.

-A mixing glass, like this.

-A jigger, like this one or like these.

-Cute rocks glasses

-Martini glasses. We love these.

-ICE, lots of ice!

-CITRUS, lots of citrus! Lemons and limes but also oranges!

-Angostura bitters. You can buy these at the grocery store or sometimes even at the bodega!

-Dry vermouth.

-Sweet vermouth.

-A bottle of Campari.

-BOOZE, of course

I told you the list would be basic. WIth these ingredients, you should be able to make most essential three-ingredient cocktails, including, let’s not forget the new classic, the quarantini.
